Cheri, yes you can...at some libraries (but not at the one where I work and that's probably a good thing for my waistline). UNO's Criss library has a cafe where you can even get Starbucks coffee http://library.unomaha.edu/information/cafe.htm
The Omaha Public Library tried a cafe at the main branch downtown, but I don't think it worked out. At least, it wasn't open anymore the last time I was down there. For some reason, these seem to work better in academic libraries (starving students who HAVE to be there, I guess?)
